Samantha Janus denies quitting EastEnders because of cot death baby swap storyline

Samantha Womack says she's not leaving EastEnders because of the soap's harrowing cot death storyline.
More than 3,000 viewers complained after watching the actress's character Ronnie Branning swap her dead baby with Kat Moon's newborn - and it was reported that Samantha shared their opinion.
'She made it clear to bosses that she thought it was wrong,' a source claimed.
'They persuaded her to stay and film the scenes, but she will leave in May.'
Mum-of-two Sam, 38 - who changed her name from Janus to Womack after her marriage - insists her decision to wave goodbye to Albert Square was made months ago.
'There's no truth whatsoever in any suggestion that Sam is 'quitting' EastEnders over the current storyline,' says the actress's agent Michael Wiggs.
'Her contract comes to a natural end later this year and she will be taking a break from the show; this has been agreed with the producers for several months.
'Sam has had an incredibly happy and fulfilling time on EastEnders over the last few years.
'She has huge respect for the show, writers and producers and has thoroughly enjoyed playing such a complex role that has been involved in so many tough and challenging storylines.'
