EastEnders: Will Ronnie admit to baby swap?

ANGUISHED Ronnie Branning is close to breaking point over her awful dilemma - whether to admit she has swapped her dead baby with Kat and Alfie Moon's son Tommy.
She is torn apart as her husband Jack returns from abroad to meet the child he thinks is his son James for the first time.
He doesn't know that Ronnie has stolen Tommy and is trying to pass him off as James, who has fallen victim to cot death.
Ronnie - played by Samantha Womack - is on a knife edge as a midwife arrives to do a routine check. She is terrified the nurse will realise the little lad isn't hers. In heart-rending EastEnders scenes in the New Year, Ronnie cries silently at Walford cemetery as Kat and Alfie lay to rest the baby they believe is their son.
Kat, played by Jessie Wallace, and Alfie - Shane Richie - struggle with their grief, surrounded by their mourning friends and family.
Ronnie weeps as she says her own goodbye to the little boy. As the baby's body is lowered into the grave, will she break down and admit to Kat and Alfie that their son is alive and well?
An insider said: "Ronnie has been living in fear that her actions will be discovered.
"She is terrified that Jack and Roxy will pick up on her failure to bond with little baby 'James'. They put her struggles to adapt to motherhood down to her tragic past - specifically the loss of her daughter Danielle.
"They couldn't even begin to imagine the terrible truth."
And there's more heartache on the horizon for the Moons in 2011 as Alfie's hunky cousin Michael strolls back into Albert Square.
Last time the Lothario was seen he was about to return to Spain after Alfie discovered the guy was the biological father of Kat's baby.
Executive producer Bryan Kirkwood said: "He's been spurned by Kat so he won't go there again.
"But there are a few other Walford women he's going to set his sights on."
However, romancing the ladies won't be the first thing on Michael's mind when he's told that his newborn son has died.
